No Enterprise Bloat
Most business software charges by the seat for screens you will never open. We build the part you actually use and leave the rest out. Fewer moving parts is also fewer things that can break on a Saturday.

Loading page contentI am Robert Hattala. Random Llama Software is my website and software shop: new builds, ongoing care and practical tools for the businesses that use them.
The working relationship
Before Random Llama, I spent years in logistics and mapping software, where bad tooling costs real money.
I work directly with the person who needs the site to work. We agree the scope, keep planned changes visible and maintain a record of the work. A website can be a simple way to get in touch or the front door to a more involved business workflow.
That work includes the booking platform for Reel Excitement Charters, Tenacious Systems for bike-shop operations, independent product tools and ongoing website maintenance. The company was registered in Richmond, Texas in 2025.
The name stuck after a long debug session: the code behaved about as predictably as a llama. The approach is more straightforward: understand the problem, make the useful thing and take care of it.

Core principles
Most business software charges by the seat for screens you will never open. We build the part you actually use and leave the rest out. Fewer moving parts is also fewer things that can break on a Saturday.
Every line is written in Richmond, Texas. No offshore handoff, no overnight round trip on a one-line question. You talk to the person who wrote the thing you are asking about.
A site with nobody watching it breaks quietly, and you find out from a customer. We check every morning, patch on a policy rather than on impulse, and send you nothing at all on the days everything is fine.
Clean markup, page titles that describe the page, a sitemap that matches what is actually published. We will not promise you a ranking, because nobody honestly can. We will make sure nothing technical is holding you back.
A page that takes four seconds is a page people leave. We budget the weight before we build, ship images at the size they render, and keep the data-heavy screens usable on a phone with one bar.
Built to order, for one business, by the shop that will still be maintaining it next year. Nothing here is a template with your logo dropped into the corner.
Work together
A new site, a better version of the one you have or someone to take responsibility for its care. Start with the situation, and we will work out the scope.
